Our 6th Grade Graduate

This week we were able to celebrate with Trinity as she graduated from the 6th grade. In the culture of Costa Rica, this is a monumental event. We took Trinity out for a fun dinner, just the three of us. Mom, Dad and Trinity. It was great one on one time, which is sometimes difficult to come by with 4 kids. :) Anyway, as we were sitting at dinner talking, I realized once again what a remarkable young lady Trinity has become. We are so proud of her.

Trinity~ I know that this 6th grade year has been different than you might have imagined or even wished for yourself. However, we are so proud of how you have trusted us as your parents and more importantly God, to direct your path. Thank you for being so strong and brave. You are an amazing young women and it is an honor to be your parents. We love watching God grow you into just what He wants you to be. Congratulations on all of your hard work.
Philippians 1:6 (The Message)3-6Every time you cross my mind, I break out in exclamations of thanks to God. Each exclamation is a trigger to prayer. I find myself praying for you with a glad heart. I am so pleased that you have continued on in this with us, believing and proclaiming God's Message, from the day you heard it right up to the present. There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
