Missing Music

One of the things I miss most about living in the States is music! I know that with the Internet I have access to lots of music but I just never seem to have the time to browse new artists like I used to. Way to much homework for that. I feel like I am missing some good new stuff out there! So friends, share!!! Please comment and let me know what you are listening to these days. Is there a new album that you would highly recommend. I have my Itunes up and ready, so let me know what I need to purchase!

check out noisetrade.com. It has new independent artists (not all are Christian, but a lot are), and you can pay what you want for their albums! It's pretty awesome. Also, Pandora.com will take a playlist you made and suggest new music you might like that sounds similar. I've found some good stuff on both.

On noisetrade I recently bought the Rain City Hymnal which is new arrangements of hymns done by bands at Mars Hill Church in Seattle. I also bought cds by Blake Hicks and Bryan Brown that were decent. Hmm... other recommendations... if you haven't heard Tenth Avenue North and Needtobreathe, you're missing out. I really like Mat Kearney, too, but I don't know your tastes. All the ones I recommended are good general stuff that most people will like. happy music hunting!

Hey Friend Tina!

I love the band Tenth Avenue North and their latest CD "Over and Underneath." It is wonderful and healing. I think God had them write it just for me because every song seems to apply to my life at this time. I LOVE the song "Times." Wow! After all I've done wrong, God still loves me... deeply. Hallelujah! I love you friend! -Lori

We miss you guys. I was sitting in church tonight listening to a guest singer when I realized I really miss Tina singing. It would be nice to get a peppy hello from Tim, too.
Thanks for having Caroline - it was fun seeing Trinity again too. I am really enjoying your blog - it reminds me to keep you all in our prayers. Love to you all, Janis Kelly
